Electric curtains versus regular curtains

automated curtains review

Today we’re going to be talking about a gadget that not everyone knows exists, we are of course talking about the electric curtain. Now 99% of us have regular curtains that people have been used to for hundreds of years, with home automation systems getting better and better though Electric curtains are one of the latest additions to an array of devices that aim to make your everyday life just a little bit easier.

Do you really need motorised curtains?

Like any gadget out there at the moment there is a certain element of, is this really necessary? We put electric curtains tracks to the test in order to find out whether they do really make your life that much easier and whether they are worth the slightly hefty price-tag.

First of all we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we did not need a special set of clippings in order to automate our curtaining closing process. These devices simply sit down with your existing coding rails and plug into your main power supply, when the device is activated it then uses it in built motor to actually do the closing of the curtains electronically. This is quite a handy feature of his devices because not a lot of people would want to change their coating style in order to fit an automation device, so this certainly lowers the barrier to entry.

The advantages to having automated curtains are that for example if you’re the type of person who finds it difficult to get out of bed in the morning in a darkened room, having a remote control that introduces natural daylight at potential button can be a big plus. It does get even better than that though, you don’t necessarily need to push a button in order to open your coatings, you can simply set a desired time, a little like an alarm clock and your curtains will open at that time on their own.

This type of gadget is also very useful for elderly relatives who may have difficulties in opening their own kittens, you can set it so that at a touch of a button your entire house’s curtains will open at once. We were pleasantly surprised with this device we originally thought would we ever buy one for our own homes, but after using one of them we have discovered that they’re actually pretty useful and in our opinion worth the price tag.

Electric shavers versus a straight razor review

shavers

It’s the age old question that many men have found themselves asking, should I stake to blades or invest in an electric shaver. In this review we take a close look at the pros and cons of both types of shavers and decide whether it’s better to buy and electric shaver or not. We have a number of Italian people who have expressed interest in this electric shaver topic and they can find information on this by reading about miglior rasoio elettrico.

So is an electric shaver or a blade better?

shavers

To answer this question directly, I side with and electric shaver being better for a number of reasons. The first one surprisingly is that they actually cost less, sure there’s an initial upfront cost but having bought one two years ago myself, I’ve had no trouble with it and I don’t imagine changing it in the near future. Now if we look at a manual shaver then you’re going to be buying new blades fairly consistently. Now I don’t believe in buying cheap when it comes to shaving, so I would only ever buy a decent quality blade like one from Gillette or another reputable brand and these types of blades don’t come cheap.

Not only do electric shavers cost less in the long run but they also do a better job in my opinion. I used to suffer quite badly from shaving rash when I used a manual blade. Manual blades tend to product very small cuts in your skin which then become infected and product a rash. This got the the stage where I couldn’t go on, so picking an electric shaver was inevitable for me! When I was in Italy I searched for a rasoio elettrico.

Where can you buy and electric shaver?

Well it’s hard to walk down the high-street these days without coming across one. The trick is to know which shavers offer real quality and value for money though. The best way of finding out which ones are right for you is to use amazon in order to find out, there you can find many review from real people which are going to help you, as I a rough guide I would expect to pay around two hundred pounds for a decent electric shaver.

This has been perhaps one of our favorite review of the year so far. It’s been all of our dreams since children of trying out a virtual reality headset and to finally get the chance to use one is like a dream come true! I am of course talking about the new virtual realist headset form valve, a review of which can also be found here.

So what does this electronic gadget offer in terms of spec and what are people going to be getting for their money? Well for people who know their screen and display specifications, there’s going to be a 90 frames per second refresh rate which will make the digital world as close as possible to the real deal. The displays themselves are 1080 by 1200 meaning that you really will get a full view of your environment when looking into this headset.

What makes virtual reality so enticing?

I think the draw for most people when they think about virtual reality is that their going to be operating in a virtually limitless world where they are not bound by the laws of physics. It’s true that this is pretty true for most video games out there but with virtual reality, the direct interaction with you environment makes it all the more realistic and immersive.

At the moment this headset form Valve is purely in the early stages of development so there may be many changes afoot. Whatever these changes may be, we are certainly looking forward to seeing the finished product!
